Marketing Executive

(1 year maternity cover)

Areas of responsibility:

  • Develop and deliver creative marketing communication plans and approaches to help market and position Brightwell and its products to target audiences 
  • Grow the company’s social media presence by implementing a digital strategy across multiple platforms, driving user interaction and brand awareness 
  • Lead the development of creative and integrated marketing campaigns, engaging press releases and other web content to showcase the added value of Brightwell products and services 
  • Continually refine and manage our website, shaping the look, feel and user experience, whilst driving SEO and maintaining fresh and accurate content
  • Report lead generation performance and other meaningful metrics from marketing activities, with analysis and insight to demonstrate ongoing improvement and a return on marketing investment  
  • Respond to market trends and monitor brand perception through customer surveys and feedback 
  • Take ownership for the recommended attendance, planning and coordination of all aspects of industry exhibitions and events 
  • Promote Brightwell as an employer of choice, facilitating internal marketing efforts and external newsletters to share noteworthy news 

Essential Criteria

Education/Qualifications 

  • BA in business and/or marketing 

Knowledge/Experience 

  • At least 2-3 years experience in a B2B marketing environment
  • Content writing experience
  • Digital Marketing experience 
  • Budgeting, negotiating and business finance

Skills/Abilities 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong analytical approach 
  • Knowledge of SEO, UX, CMS and social media 
  • Competent in using Adobe creative suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)  

Desirable Criteria

  • CIM Diploma or Post graduate Diploma 
  • Experience Working for a manufacturing business 
  • Previous experience in working in a technical products environment 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM system 
  • Working knowledge of video editing software e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro CC 
  • 2nd language 
  • Professionalism, diligence and quality focus 
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines 
  • Ability to manage your own projects and events 
  • Office (Word, Excel, Acrobat, PowerPoint)
