Editing a Unit Configuration

Connecting to the Nexus Unit



To edit the unit configuration of an attached unit locate this in the Nexus Systems database. Press the Nexus Systems icon located on the home page to open your unit list. From here select the unit you wish to edit and select Connect to Unit.

Unit Mode

To edit a unit mode use the selector boxes in the Mode box located in the centre column. You have Standard, Relay, Levels and Hot-Cold mode available for selection.

Chemical Profile

To assign or change a Customer Chemical Profile use the Chemical Profile box below the Unit information. Use the drop down to select the profile that you want to use on the unit and press the Set Profile button to save. You can also Create Profile from this box if you have not done so already.


Pump Speed, Calibration Values & Unit of Measurement

The next section allows users to adjust the pump speeds, calibration and unit of measurement for the unit. To change these settings you will first need to press the Edit icon in the top right of the Pump Speed box. You can now use the drop down menu to change the pump speed and adjust the calibration values. It will also open the unit of measurement button in the top right.
Please note – If you change the unit of measurement you will lose any calibration values you have set. So make a note of these prior.

Reset Settings

The next section allows you to change the reset settings for the unit. You can add a Delay Time, Set to Reset on Last Pump or via an Input signal and finally select if it resets to a Program or a Safe Blank Program.

Auto Formula Select Settings

The last section in this column allows you to setup and adjust the Auto Formula Select options. You have multiple options available to you with Timed Mode & Binary Mode (please click on the mode to find out more information).
Use the check box to select if you want to use Timed or Binary mode. For Timed you set up the Multiplier for the input signal. For Binary you can adjust the Setup Time.

Scaling Wash Programs


To scale your wash programs for different sized machines press the Scale Machine icon in the right hand column. This will open up the scaling menu to allow adjustments. From here you can change the size of the machine to a different size. It will automatically work out the scaling factor for the wash programs for you and apply. To set press the Save button.

View Mode/Prime Mode & Pump Stop Mode


To enable or disable the View Mode, Prime Mode and Pump Stop Mode use the check boxes in the second box in the right hand column.

Signal Acceptance


The next section will allow you to edit the Signal Acceptance Time for the unit.

Manifold Settings


Finally, we you can set up the manifold settings for the unit. The check boxes will allocate the manifold to the pump, next you can choose the Flush Option and finally set up the Flush Valve Time.
