Our 2017 milestones
Our 2017 milestones
11 December 2017
Here we take a recap of how we’ve been helping our customers:
Launch of the new Modular Autocut Hand Towel Dispenser
In May, we released the Autocut Hand Towel Dispenser. The Modular Autocut dispenser is the latest addition to our Modular soap and paper range. The Autocut uses a mechanism that provides the user individual paper towels without needing to touch the dispenser - ideal for environments where hygiene is paramount.
The dispenser is a great way of controlling paper usage and minimises the risk of cross-contamination. The Autocut is also one of the smallest Autocut products in the market, dispensing an economical 23.5 cm towel length.
New Q10+ Laundry Remote Dose
The Q10+ Remote Dose Laundry Pump is our new addition to the laundry dosing range. The Q10+ Remote Dose provides laundry machines with accurate dosing for a high-quality wash. It works by using a peristaltic pump system to dose one chemical into small capacity laundry machines such as top load laundry units. The Q10+ is an ideal dosing solution with easy installation and configuration.
We attended many exhibitions this year: The Cleaning Show in London, CMS Berlin and ISSA/Interclean Las Vegas to name a few! At these major shows, we demonstrated our latest solutions which show how we can make commercial cleaning easier and cost-effective. It was great to chat to customers new and existing.
Celebrating 70 years in business
This year we celebrated a huge milestone, 70 years in business. We have come a long way from two Brightwell brothers who designed a soap dispenser for post-war factories, to a global designer and manufacturer of unique dispensing systems.
We are proud to have built a strong reputation as a reliable provider of high-quality products for businesses in the hygiene and cleaning industry. We celebrated with a staff party in June, where we had a day of BBQ and funfair fun.
New headquarters in Newhaven
In September, we said goodbye to our premises at Norton Road and hello to our new Brightwell headquarters. Our offices and production areas at Norton Road had served us well over the decades and we had achieved great milestones there. However, we had outgrown our previous offices and the time had come for a change. Our new state-of-the-art headquarters accommodates our growing company and future plans.
Our new headquarters has a bigger space and capacity for all our production facilities. With new product advancements, the new facilities enable us to continue to expand and evolve our product ranges for our customers. This coupled with our new design and development areas means that we have some exciting plans in the pipeline coming to fruition soon.
70th-anniversary celebrations, new products, and a new headquarters signified the right time to bring a fresh new look. We wanted our new brand to keep in-line with our values of innovation and customer focus, and it does just that. Focusing on simplicity and clarity, our new logo speaks for itself.. We have updated our website and marketing materials to show our new branding and we’re thrilled with the results. We hope you are too.
The new Modular Touch Free Soap Dispenser
In September, we launched the Modular Touch Free soap dispenser. The Modular Touch Free is the latest addition to the Modular range of soap and paper dispensers and encourages the highest in hand hygiene. Users can dispense soap without touching the dispenser. This removes a common contact point where germs can transfer from user to user.
We have had a great year, here’s to 2018! There’s a lot more exciting things to come, so watch this space.
We would also like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
